Responsibilities:
- Manage the restaurant’s technology infrastructure, including POS systems, digital menu boards, online ordering systems, and other technology tools.
- Ensure that the technology is reliable, secure, and aligned with the restaurant’s operational needs.
- Identify opportunities for technology to improve the guest experience, such as by streamlining ordering and payment processes.
- Train restaurant staff on the use of technology tools and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Troubleshoot technology issues and work with vendors to resolve problems quickly.
- Develop and manage the ICT budget, ensuring that expenditure is aligned with restaurant priorities.
- Stay up to date with developments in restaurant technology and industry trends and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to benefit the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements like data privacy and protection.
- Develop and implement information and communication technology strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Manage the IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, storage systems, software, and applications.
- Ensure the organization’s systems and data are secure and implement measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize the organization’s use of technology.
- Manage Tech vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements like data privacy and protection.
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting their professional development.
- Develop and manage the ICT budget, ensuring that expenditure is aligned with organizational priorities.
- Stay current with technological and industry trends and developments and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to benefit the organization.
- To support the Company in software development and training to support colleagues.
- To assist in providing a purposeful, effective, and supportive environment for Working.
- To support the promotion of positive relationships with Customers and outside agencies.
- To have a flexible approach to working hours, always ensuring the needs of the Company are met.
- To work within Company policies and procedures.
- To be aware of the confidential nature of the organization.
- To work flexibly within the ICT Department.
- To manage the Music and Technology Manager and ensure tasks are done in accordance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in IT, helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
