Responsibilities:

  1. Attending cases in court and the Commission for Mediation and Arbitration
  2. Providing legal advice, legal opinions, and case analysis
  3. Researching information for court cases and advisory
  4. Presenting cases in court on behalf of the Advocate.
  5. Assisting Advocates / Partners in preparing for trials and court proceedings.
  6. Investigating the facts of cases and ensuring that all relevant information is considered.
  7. Conducting investigations on behalf of clients
  8. Attending disciplinary hearings
  9. Attending consultation meetings with clients
  10. Attending meetings with third parties on behalf of clients
  11. Preparing PowerPoint presentations for various labor trainings
  12. Identifying appropriate laws, judicial decisions, legal articles, and other materials for assigned cases.
  13. Completing, analyzing, and organizing information.
  14. Gathering and filing exhibits.
  15. Preparing written reports.
  16. Preparing legal arguments for lawsuits and the cases in support thereto.
  17. Assisting Advocates during trials.
  18. Organizing and tracking files from case documents and making them available and easily accessible to Advocates.
  19. Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, mutual separation agreements, separation agreements, retrenchment agreements, addendums to employment contracts, memorandum of understanding, and policies.
  20. Reviewing documents shared by clients.
  21. Conducting labor training in the firm and outside the firm.
  22. Conducting client visits and HR audits for clients
  23. Conducting file perusals in court.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in law.
  2. Experience in Labor Issues/matters, etc.
  3. Strong personality, Confidence, and commitment to work.
  4. Good analytical skills and understanding of legal issues.
