Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to plan layout and welding procedures.
2. Determine appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements.
3. Set up components for welding, ensuring precision in cutting and shaping materials as per specifications.
4. Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare parts for welding.
5. Align components accurately using measuring tools such as calipers and rulers and securely clamp pieces.
6. Perform welding operations using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in different positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
7. Conduct repairs on machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps as required.
8. Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct defects or imperfections.
9. Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure work environment.
10. Maintain welding equipment in good working condition, performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A diploma or equivalent is required, with a certification in welding is preferred.
2.  Proven experience as a welding technician, preferably in CNG-related applications.
3.  Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
4.  Familiarity with different metals, welding tools, and safety procedures.
5. Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
6. Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are an added advantage.
7.  Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
