Responsibilities:

1. Performing routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries, changing oil, and replacing filters
2. Inspecting and testing truck engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality
3. Using different tools and equipment, such as wrenches, jacks, hoists, welding machines, and diagnostic devices, to repair or replace defective parts and components
4. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles. This will involve overhauling or replacing engines, transmissions, and other major components when necessary.
5. Install and configure electrical accessories as needed.
6. Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning and heating systems in vehicles. This includes recharging or replacing the refrigerant as required.
7. Perform maintenance, replacement, and repairs on suspension systems and brake components to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
8. Inspect and repair fuel injection systems by diagnosing and resolving issues with fuel pumps, injectors, and fuel lines.
9. Inspect and repair exhaust systems for proper function and compliance with emissions standards as well as replace or repair exhaust components when needed.

Requirements and qualifications

1. Hold a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Have Mechanical experience in repairing and maintenance of Chinese brand Trucks such as FAW, HOWO, and SINO.
3. Having 3 – 5 years of Working Experience in the specified area of specialization.
4. Knowledge of truck systems, components, and specifications
5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
6. Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
