Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on Chinese truck models (engine, transmission, suspension, brake systems, electrical, etc.).
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks (oil changes, fluid top-ups, tire pressure, battery checks, etc.).
- Repair and replace faulty components as necessary, including engines, alternators, and fuel systems.
- Work on systems such as air conditioning, hydraulics, exhaust systems, and other truck-specific systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical problems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Provide accurate reports on the condition of vehicles and necessary repairs.
- Assist in upgrading vehicle components and performing modifications to enhance performance, safety, or efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used.
- Provide detailed reports of vehicle condition and issues to the management team.
- Adhere to all safety standards, protocols, and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working order.
- Work closely with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components.
- Support other team members and provide guidance to junior technicians.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of Chinese truck models (e.g., FAW, Howo, Shacman, etc.).
- Strong experience in diagnosing and repairing truck engines, suspension, braking systems, and electrical components.
Knowledge of Chinese truck-specific technologies and components. - Proficiency with mechanical and diagnostic tools.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in automotive repair or mechanical systems.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts.
- Comfort working in various weather conditions.
