Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports (expenses, purchases, payroll, and reconciliations).
- Handle statutory payments and ensure compliance (NSSF, PAYE, SDL, WHT, City Service Levy, quarterly and corporate taxes).
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Process and prepare accurate monthly payroll with correct deductions and contributions.
- Support financial audits and internal reviews.
- Use accounting software to manage financial data (training will be provided).
- Track and record employee attendance and leave data.
- Assist with preparation and filing of HR documents and administrative records.
- Support in scheduling interviews and preparing employment-related letters.
- Assist the Director with verbal and written translation and communication tasks.
- Ensure all administrative activities are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in accounting and administration.
- CPA qualification is an advantage but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage (training will be provided).
- Ability to generate monthly financial and payroll reports.
- Knowledge of statutory tax filing and compliance.
- Solid understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and local tax laws.
- Good command of English; able to support translation and communication tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to manage confidential financial and HR-related information.
- Must be between 25 to 38 years of age.
- Must provide a valid police clearance certificate/report.
