Responsibilities
- Act as a supportive liaison for all subgroups, aiding them in addressing any operational challenges.
- Notify the head of any issues observed within subgroups outside their direct responsibilities, facilitating prompt resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to cleanliness protocols within the branch, maintaining a pristine environment at all times.
- Ensures that branch premises, FF&E, silver, glass, porcelain is clean & in good working order
- Conduct regular inspections after events to verify compliance with cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies.
- Take charge of maintaining all fixtures and furniture within the branch, ensuring their functionality and appearance meet company standards.
- Assume responsibility for all checklists, including evaluation of existing ones and development of new ones as needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Technology Manager to create a comprehensive check-out form. This form will track all equipment leaving the company for each subgroup, ensuring accountability and inventory control.
- Develop and implement a standardized schedule for the regular changing and cleaning of branch materials, such as sofa covers, pillows, sun beds, mats, sitting pillows, hand fans, and vikoi.
- Follow up on requests from operations managers, providing assistance to subgroups in their absence to maintain operational continuity.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing or relevant field.
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with a minimum of 2 years in the related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with subgroups and address operational challenges.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
- Attention to detail and commitment to upholding cleanliness, maintenance, and organizational standards.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Kiswahili and English is required, and additional foreign language skills are beneficial.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
