Data Personnel
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in databases and systems.
• Input data into systems, spreadsheets, or databases accurately and quickly.
• Verify data for accuracy, inconsistencies, or missing details and correct them.
• Maintain records of activities and tasks.
• Keep databases and records current by adding, modifying, or deleting data as needed.
• Prepare simple reports or summaries from data as required.
• Extract and compile data for management and stakeholders as assigned.
• Compile datasets by gathering data from multiple sources and organizing it in a clear, usable format.
• Generate basic reports for operational and analytical needs.
• Assist in producing charts, tables, and visual presentations.
• Ensure that all data is handled securely and confidentially.
• Follow company policies regarding data privacy.
• Report any breaches or suspicious activities related to data handling.
• Organize and maintain physical or digital files.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and backing up data.
• Maintain files and perform routine data backups.
• Work with other departments to collect and share the required data.
• Assist colleagues with data-related tasks as needed.
• Suggest improvements to data entry or management processes.
• Stay updated on relevant tools or software used for data work.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Data Management, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1- 2 years of relevant work experience in data entry, data management, or administrative roles involving data handling.
- Familiarity with data entry systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Understanding of data confidentiality and security best practices.
