Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement the organization’s financial strategy to support business goals and long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
  • Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.

3. Operations Management:

  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize cash flow management, working capital, and investment strategies.
  • Implement robust financial systems, controls, and processes.

4. Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks across the organization.

5. Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the finance department.
  • Identify and address skills gaps through training and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred).
  2. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
  3. Minimum of [2+] years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in [industry].
  4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  5. Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
  6. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software.
  7. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
  8. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  10. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
