Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the organization’s financial strategy to support business goals and long-term growth.
- Collaborate with the executive team to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
- Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.
3. Operations Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize cash flow management, working capital, and investment strategies.
- Implement robust financial systems, controls, and processes.
4. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and international financial regulations and standards.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks across the organization.
5. Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the finance department.
- Identify and address skills gaps through training and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
- Minimum of [2+] years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in [industry].
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
