Responsibilities:
- Ensure workplace health and safety compliance.
- Develop and implement safety programs and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
- Initiate and organize health and safety training for employees.
- Inspect premises and work practices and report on hazardous situations.
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 4 years’ experience as a Health and Safety Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct data analysis and report statistics.
