Responsibilities

1. Overseeing the efficient transportation of goods from one place to another
2. Coordinating with truckers, and other logistics service providers
3. Ensuring that all items are stored or delivered in a timely and secure manner
4. Developing and implementing strategies for reducing logistics costs and improving efficiency
5. Monitoring and managing inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking
6. Managing relationships with key suppliers and customers to ensure productive partnerships
7. Analyzing logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
8. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and other legal requirements
9. Working closely with other departments such as procurement and production to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

1. A bachelor’s degree in logistics, and supply chain management.
2. 2 years of proven experience in managing logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Good understanding of the Fleet management and tracking systems (e.g Wialon) as an added advantage
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
