Project manager
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate field activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide leadership and direction to field crews, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that work is performed according to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with other project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and address project requirements.
• Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality control processes and safety regulations, conducting safety meetings and implementing safety measures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
• Utilize project management software and tools to track project metrics, document progress, and generate reports for management and stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement among field staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to meet project objectives.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3 Years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
- Must have a Valid Driving Licence.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, execution, and budget management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
