Responsibilities
- Executing assigned jobs with no record of re-doing Jobs.
- Improving technical capabilities and professional way of working on Jenbacher Gas engines leveraging the learning platforms provided by the company.
- Executing maintenance and repairs within the agreed and according to equipment manufacturer recommended job hours and standards.
- Managing with proper care assigned company assets
- On-time and accurate preparation and submission of site reports
- Delivering an efficient and cost-effective service to customers, to ensure that the maximum availability of gas engines and related balance of the plant is achieved through fast response, troubleshooting, and fault rectification.
- Ensuring that scheduled maintenance is carried out to the required standard to avoid unnecessary replacement of parts and engine unavailability.
- Ensuring that all out of hour’s callouts are responded to on time.
- Ensuring that all oil samples are taken, labeled, and dispatched to the laboratory in accordance with the agreed standards and procedures.
- Ensuring that all parts are selected, ordered, and used correctly, with any parts that prove unnecessary being returned to the warehouse to keep wastage to an absolute minimum.
- Ensuring that site and warehouse stock is maintained in good condition.
- Ensuring that all worksheet machinery and tools are maintained in good condition.
- Ensuring that communications with the Field Service Supervisor, Leader, General Manager, customers, subcontractors, and fellow staff are always maintained.
- Competing all required paperwork and service reports and documenting all site visits in accordance with the agreed quality standards and timescales.
- Protecting and developing the industry standing of the company by building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, based on integrity and consistently professional dealings and attitude.
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and presentation. This includes and is not limited to, customer sites, company offices, workshops, and company vehicles.
- Ensuring that company-supplied equipment is well maintained and kept at a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintaining tools in good and safe working order and calibrated as required.
- Following and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and regulations always.
- Supporting the Field Service Supervisor and Leader by supervising and training new employees as required.
Requirements and qualifications
- Graduate of Engineering (Mechanical) with 0 to 2 years post-graduation experience.
- Mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Consistently trustworthy and professional
- Reliable and dependable

- Gas engine knowledge and experience
- In Addition, the candidate needs to be able to operate the following equipment; Drilling machine, Angle grinder, Soldering Iron, Pallet Jack, Compressor, Bench Grinder, Hydraulic press, Various hand tools, and Lifting of parts.
