Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Design training programs that cover key areas such as customer service, food safety, operational procedures, and company policies.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for new hires, existing employees, and management staff.
- Use various training methods, such as hands-on training, role-playing, and interactive activities, to engage employees and enhance learning.
- Ensure training sessions are conducted promptly and that employees understand and apply the training content effectively.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they receive proper orientation and initial training.
- Develop and maintain an orientation program that introduces new hires to the restaurant’s culture, values, and operational procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular reports to management on training outcomes, employee progress, and areas for improvement.
- Adjust training programs based on feedback and performance evaluations to address any gaps or emerging needs.
- Work closely with department heads and managers to identify training needs and develop targeted training solutions.
- Support managers in coaching and mentoring their teams to reinforce training concepts and ensure ongoing development.
- Assist in the development of leadership training programs and succession Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into training programs.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation for all employees.
- Manage the training budget, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven 2 – 3 experiences as a Training Manager or in a similar training role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop engaging training materials and deliver effective training sessions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and training management software.
