Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  2. Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  3. Design training programs that cover key areas such as customer service, food safety, operational procedures, and company policies.
  4. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for new hires, existing employees, and management staff.
  5. Use various training methods, such as hands-on training, role-playing, and interactive activities, to engage employees and enhance learning.
  6. Ensure training sessions are conducted promptly and that employees understand and apply the training content effectively.
  7. Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they receive proper orientation and initial training.
  8. Develop and maintain an orientation program that introduces new hires to the restaurant’s culture, values, and operational procedures.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  10. Provide regular reports to management on training outcomes, employee progress, and areas for improvement.
  11. Adjust training programs based on feedback and performance evaluations to address any gaps or emerging needs.
  12. Work closely with department heads and managers to identify training needs and develop targeted training solutions.
  13. Support managers in coaching and mentoring their teams to reinforce training concepts and ensure ongoing development.
  14. Assist in the development of leadership training programs and succession Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  15. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into training programs.
  16. Maintain accurate training records and documentation for all employees.
  17. Manage the training budget, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking expenses.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  2. Proven 2 – 3 experiences as a Training Manager or in a similar training role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  3. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and food safety standards.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to develop engaging training materials and deliver effective training sessions.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and training management software.
