Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and schedule truck routes and deliveries to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
2. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely availability of trucks.
3. Work closely with customs brokers to ensure all customs clearance processes are properly handled,
4. Monitor compliance with export regulations and provide support for any audits or inspections.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their export shipment, providing updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
6. Collaborate with the operation team to coordinate shipping schedules aligned with customer needs.
7. Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and provide status updates to clients as needed.
8. An ability to find solutions whenever there is a scarcity of trucks in the market to ensure delivery of containers on time.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to export shipping and documentation.
10. Participate in training and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in international shipping
11. Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and provide regular updates to management regarding export operations.
12. Share daily shipping line reports to the export team group and management at the end of the working day.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
2. 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, export documentation or logistics within a clearing and forwarding company.
3. Experience in roles related to customer service or operations within a shipping company can be beneficial
4. Strong understanding of export regulations, customs procedures and shipping logistics.
5. Excellent organizational, analytical and multitasking skills.
6. Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and any logistics management software.
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills
8. Ability to work in an office environment with occasional visits to shipping lines offices.
