Responsibilities:
- Manage the hiring process, including conducting interviews and selecting candidates so as to develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process to integrate new hires into the company culture and for expatriate employees.
- Follow up on all employee permits, including work visas and residency permits, and liaise with immigration authorities and legal advisors to ensure timely processing of permits.
- Address employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs to support employees.
- Develop and implement a succession plan aligned with employee strengths and the needs of the general manager.
- Administer employee benefits programs and paid leave.
- Manage compensation and conduct regular pay reviews to ensure fairness and
competitiveness. - Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Enforce company policies and maintain clear records of staff activities and documentation.
- Supervise and support team members, assign tasks, and conduct performance.
evaluations. - Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Manage employee records and documentation related to benefits, compensation, and leave.
- Implement efficient recordkeeping systems to streamline HR processes.7. Coordination and communication
Ensure preset channels of and etiquette of communication is observed. - Clarify roles and responsibilities and ensure there are no overlaps to avoid conflicts or confusion.
- Mediate and facilitate conflict resolution and observe when escalation is needful.
- Ensure the Resource management desk is continually in the loop of all relevant matters.
- Develop and implement workplace safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide training on safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address safety concerns and maintain compliance with standards.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in HR management or related roles.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
