Responsibilities

  1. Meet with clients to determine their property needs and preferences, providing expert guidance throughout the buying or selling process.
  2. Conduct comprehensive market research to determine property values, trends, and competitive listings.
  3. Create and manage property listings, including writing compelling descriptions, taking high-quality photographs, and coordinating showings.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with clients, other agents, lenders, and industry professionals to expand your network and generate leads.
  5. Represent clients in negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
  6. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote properties, utilizing online platforms, social media, and traditional marketing methods.
  7. Prepare and review all necessary documentation, including purchase agreements, lease contracts, and disclosure forms.
  8. Give clients insights into the local real estate market, financing options, and the buying/selling process.
  9. Maintain ongoing communication with clients post-transaction to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in science of real estate finance and investment, or any related field.
  2. 2 – 3 years’ experience as a real estate agent or in a related sales role or property management.
  3. Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and trends.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in real estate software and online listing platforms.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Familiarity with Tanzanian real estate regulations.
  9. Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
