Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the shipment of goods, including arranging transportation, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
2. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other vendors to schedule shipments and track the progress of deliveries.
3. Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs forms.
4. Continuously monitor shipping expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on service quality.
5. Stay up to date with customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade compliance requirements.
6. Coordinate with internal departments, including procurement, sales, and warehouse, to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
7. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as customs officials, freight forwarders, and transportation providers, to resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process.

REQUIREMENTS

1. A minimum of two years of experience in a shipping-related role, preferably within a similar industry.
2. Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and international trade practices.
3. Proficiency in using shipping software and systems to track shipments and generate documentation.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
6. Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle shipping-related issues and resolve them promptly.
7. Familiarity with freight negotiation and cost optimization techniques.
