Responsibilities

  1. Executing assigned jobs with no record of re-doing Jobs.
  2. Improving technical capabilities and professional way of working on Jenbacher Gas engines leveraging the learning platforms provided by the company.
  3. Executing maintenance and repairs within the agreed and according to equipment manufacturer recommended job hours and standards.
  4. Managing with proper care assigned company assets
  5. On-time and accurate preparation and submission of site reports
  6. Delivering an efficient and cost-effective service to customers, to ensure that the maximum availability of gas engines and related balance of the plant is achieved through fast response, troubleshooting, and fault rectification.
  7. Ensuring that scheduled maintenance is carried out to the required standard to avoid unnecessary replacement of parts and engine unavailability.
  8. Ensuring that all out of hour’s callouts are responded to on time.
  9. Ensuring that all oil samples are taken, labeled, and dispatched to the laboratory in accordance with the agreed standards and procedures.
  10. Ensuring that all parts are selected, ordered, and used correctly, with any parts that prove unnecessary being returned to the warehouse to keep wastage to an absolute minimum.
  11. Ensuring that site and warehouse stock is maintained in good condition.
  12. Ensuring that all worksheet machinery and tools are maintained in good condition.
  13. Ensuring that communications with the Field Service Supervisor, Leader, General Manager, customers, subcontractors, and fellow staff are always maintained.
  14. Competing all required paperwork and service reports and documenting all site visits in accordance with the agreed quality standards and timescales.
  15. Protecting and developing the industry standing of the company by building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, based on integrity and consistently professional dealings and attitude.
  16. Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and presentation. This includes and is not limited to, customer sites, company offices, workshops, and company vehicles.
  17. Ensuring that company-supplied equipment is well maintained and kept at a high standard of cleanliness.
  18. Maintaining tools in good and safe working order and calibrated as required.
  19. Following and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and regulations always.
  20. Supporting the Field Service Supervisor and Leader by supervising and training new employees as required.

Requirements and qualifications

  1. Graduate of Engineering (Mechanical) with 0 to 2 years post-graduation experience.
  2. Mechanical engineering knowledge.

  19. In Addition, the candidate needs to be able to operate the following equipment; Drilling machine, Angle grinder, Soldering Iron, Pallet Jack, Compressor, Bench Grinder, Hydraulic press, Various hand tools, and Lifting of parts.

Responsibilities

  2. 3 - 5 years’ experience in the Automotive industry/Consulting Firm.
  3. The candidates must be 26 – 30 years of age.
  4. Creative and knowledgeable in handling HR activities.
  5. Good communication skills both verbal and written in Swahili and English.
  6. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

  4. Awareness of key players in the midstream and downstream activities of oil and gas in Tanzania and the East Africa Region.
  5. Excellent in using Microsoft Office packages (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  6. High communication skills with different teams and management of the organization.
  7. Multinational and expatriate exposure is preferable.
  8. Fluent in English and Swahili, Spoken and written.
  9. Flexible to travel locally and internationally according to business needs.
